Our factory qualification audits focus on areas most important to our
client’s outsourcing program success as identified in requirements analysis.
These areas typically include rigorous audit of manufacturing practices
related to manufacturing process control and quality systems, component
supplier management, test and other engineering services, logistics, ease of
doing business other areas depending upon what is most important to program
success. Factory audit of other important, but less differential processes
is performed if and as needed to validate good practices e.g., order entry
procedures.
When planning and scheduling supplier site visits, CMC creates detailed
audit agendas tailored to focus on key requirements. These agendas are first
reviewed with our client personnel and then with suppliers for their
resource scheduling. Clients participate in the site visits to the extent
they prefer. Most utilize CMC to conduct initial site visits to screen down
to a few select candidates for continued evaluation.
